2009: Ride to Conquer Cancer Finish Line
Joined by thousands of cyclists from North America and beyond,
the Price-Jones’s will participate in this demanding ride
of over 200 kilometres from Toronto to Niagara Falls.
“One
in three people will be diagnosed with some form of cancer in
their lifetime, so it affects every family. Participating in this
ride, to actively engage in raising funds for cutting-edge research,
is our way of remembering those who have lost the battle, celebrating
the survivors and supporting the fighters.”
Glenn
and Heather agree that, “We are challenging ourselves physically
and mentally, challenging family, friends and the community financially,
in the hope that we can all make a difference in finding a cure
for this disease.”
Glenn
and Heather each have a personal fundraising goal of $5,000, for
a team total of $10,000.
